Weather
If the weather is not suitable for riding and we determine that the trails are not safe or if severe weather is forecasted on the radar in our area, Red Fern Riding Center will text you two hours prior to your ride.
The weather at the park is often different than in Louisville, so if it's raining there it may be sunny and gorgeous here! If your ride is cancelled, we will offer you a full refund or you may reschedule for any time in the future
Weight Limit
For your safety and the well-being of our horses, we require the rider not to exceed 20% of the horse's weight.
Please advise if you have riders in your party that are 250 pounds so we may make sure we have the appropriate horses available.
Price - Appointment Time
Guided Rides are $60.00 per person (adults & children). Reservations must be made prior to your appointment.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your ride. Rides leave promptly at your appointment time.
Cancellations
We are a small operation and bring in staff to lead the rides. If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us AT LEAST 24-hours notice.
Rides cancelling or wishing to reschedule with less than 24 hours notice will not receive a refund.
